Welcome to Spring 09 Floor Meeting

We would like to go watch a movie midnight premiere again like we did for 007. If you have any big upcoming movie, feel free to suggest it to me. This blog has a commenting feature so leave it as a comment.

Khaled & I want to make sure we have the best floor on campus. If you have a suggestion on how to make this the best floor (without breaking a rule) comment please.  

I'll be going around tommorrow taking Mug shots of people for the door decorations. Feel free to dress up, make funny faces, make serious faces. I will be asking you for your major, projected graduation date, room #, short quote.  

We will also make full door size door decs, more info soon.

Question: Why do you have a deadline for requesting a recommendation 

Answer: If you're applying for a job as a PL, I would have to assume that you truly want the job then you want me to take at least a little bit of time working on it. The 3 day gap gives me the time I need to analyze your leadership characteristic and develop a thorough recommendation letter.  

Question: Why should I go to the information session? 

Answer: At the info session you will see Hall Directors, who are the people that actually do the hiring, and have the opportunity to present yourself and make a good impression. I strongly recommend you attend at least one of the info sessions. For time, date, and location of these session, as well as more info, see here  

In other news, we've got some more floor posters coming your way soon. One of them, I will ask that all of you sign it, but I'll let you know which one it is when its up.
